Upgrade Hydrant Fuel System
Dyess AFB, TX
GTP provided mechanical and electrical design as well as design project management for the structural
services for the upgrade of the hydrant fuel system. Mechanical and electrical design services that
included analysis of the existing hydrant loop with design of new piping supports in the airfield
trenches as well as the design of new piping layouts in the pump house. The project also included
the design of a new computer-controlled Type III hydrant control system to support the two hydrant loops.

Repairs to Existing Hydrant System
Beale AFB, CA
GTP provided mechanical and electrical design as well as design project management for the structural
services for the repairs to the hydrant fuel system. The mechanical design included replacement of the
existing pumps, providing an additional filter/separator, and reworking the pressure relief system.
The electrical design included an entire new power distribution system from the service entrance.
Electrical design services for new electrical power, communications, controls, and lighting for the
entire bulk-fuels storage facility. The project also included a new pump shelter and renovated pump house.

Fuel Chiller System
Edwards AFB, CA
GTP provided mechanical and electrical design for two separate fully functioning 600 GPM fuel systems
(one serving normal temperature fuel and one serving chilled fuel) with the intent that after testing
is completed, both systems could serve together as standard operational fueling points.
